Payroll software Singapore
HRMatters automates CPF, SDL, SHG, payslips, GIRO payments and IR8A, so you can run accurate, MOM-compliant payroll for your Singapore team in minutes.
Payroll software in Singapore calculates employee pay and every statutory contribution required locally: CPF (employer and employee shares, by age band and residency), the Skills Development Levy, Self-Help Group funds (CDAC, ECF, MBMF, SINDA) and the foreign worker levy. It then issues itemised payslips, produces the CPF and bank payment files, and prepares year-end IR8A records for IRAS.
Good payroll software removes manual formulas, so a change in CPF rates, wage ceilings or an employee's age band never causes an under- or over-payment.

FAQ
Payroll software in Singapore must calculate gross pay, CPF contributions by age and residency, Skills Development Levy (SDL) and Self-Help Group (SHG) fund deductions; issue itemised payslips; generate the CPF submission and bank GIRO payment files; and prepare IR8A, IR8S, Appendix 8A and 8B for submission to IRAS under the Auto-Inclusion Scheme.
CPF contributions for a calendar month must be paid by the 14th of the following month. For example, CPF for October wages is due by 14 November. Late payment attracts interest charges from the CPF Board.
Under the Employment Act, salary must be paid at least once a month and within 7 days after the end of the salary period. Overtime pay must be paid within 14 days after the end of the salary period. Itemised payslips must be issued within 3 working days of payment.
From 1 January 2026, the CPF Ordinary Wage ceiling is S$8,000 a month, up from S$7,400 in 2025. The annual salary ceiling for CPF remains S$102,000, which limits the Additional Wages (such as bonuses) that attract CPF.
The Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS) is mandatory for employers with five or more employees, or those who have received a notice from IRAS. Smaller employers can join voluntarily, which saves employees from declaring their income manually. HRMatters supports AIS submission regardless of company size.
Yes. HRMatters records work pass details for Employment Pass, S Pass and Work Permit holders, excludes them from CPF where appropriate, tracks monthly foreign worker levy amounts, and flags IR21 tax clearance when a foreign employee is leaving.
